I grew up in a family that owned and operated a Real Estate business, and I quickly developed an interest in the industry amid constant discussions of all phases of buying and selling real estate at every family gathering. This immersion gave me the ability to learn how complicated deals really get done beyond the typical basic procedural steps.

Since graduating from college here in central Vermont, I decided to build my home, family and work life in Killington. I have been with Killington Valley Real Estate since 2003, that along with living and working in the outdoor recreation mecca of Killington allows me to enjoy an adventure-based lifestyle while constantly expanding my knowledge of the area and the current real estate market, and growing my business. Today I successfully serve my clients in all phases of the purchase and sales process and as a Green Mountain lifestyle concierge.

I moved to Killington with my husband Lee, in 1975 and founded Aspen East Ski Shop. What began as a small ski tuning and repair shop grew into a full-service retail business, earning accolades such as Top Shop in the Country by SKI Magazine and the Gold Medal for Best Ski Shop in the Northeast. We expanded with Surf the Earth Snowboards, online stores, and a 9,800-square-foot facility—all while enjoying mid-week mountain adventures with friends and customers. As a former PSIA-certified ski instructor, I transitioned into real estate as a broker with The Performance Group during Killington’s development boom, earning a GRI designation in 1980.

With over a decade in executive support in Boston’s investment industry, Laura brings her client focus and attention to detail to Killington.

After more than a decade of success providing executive support in the investment management industry in the Boston area, Laura looks forward to directing her client-focused mindset and keen eye for detail toward her new role at one of Killington’s premier agencies.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Laura holds a BS in Marketing with a minor in Communications from Plymouth State University (formerly Plymouth State College).Laura, her husband Arra, and their three children recently moved to Killington,and have quickly immersed themselves in Killington’s vibrant and engaging community. In addition to her work with Killington Valley Real Estate, Laura works part time at Killington Daycare and as a substitute teacher at Killington Elementary School, where she also volunteers with the Trailblazers youth ski program.

Her three children attend Killington Elementary School, and actively participate in the Pico Ski Team, the Killington Sharks Swim Team, and the local youth soccer and baseball programs. I have called Vermont home for over 30 years, having moved to the Killington area in the fall of 1991. I came to Killington for the same reasons that a lot of people choose to move here: the best skiing in the East, the healthy outdoor life-style and the superior quality of life.

I spent my first thirteen years in Vermont working for Killington Resort in sales and marketing. Working for Killington and interacting with people from all over the world was what really hooked me on the area.

After thirteen years of selling Killington Resort, I decided to start my real estate career in 2004. For almost 20 years I have had the pleasure of being able to assist friends, locals and visitors with all of their real estate needs.
